Temporary Legal Administrative Assistant Job Opening
Position is estimated to last three (3) months.
Great opportunity for the right candidate to gain experience in a growing faith-based law firm in south Overland Park that represents clients in personal injury, construction law, and business litigation. We are currently seeking a temporary Legal Administrative Assistant to handle clerical tasks and be an in-office point of contact for clients, vendors, and guests. Physical and Other Requirements:
Lift and/or carry 30lbs
Stand and/or sit for extended periods of time
Valid US Driver’s License
One year or more of clerical or administrative support experience in an office, or office-equivalent, environment.
Prior work with MAC OS X operating system.
Prior law firm experience.
Greet clients and guests; setup and cleanup for meetings and other scheduled events
Clerical support for attorneys and paralegal staff
Preparation of documents for potential and new client meetings
Schedule hearings, depositions, court reporters, etc.
Entry of all matter contacts and information to the firm’s practice management system.
Mailing, faxing, copying, and errands as needed
Other stuff (We’re a small firm so everyone does whatever’s needed to give great client service)
Hours 25-37.5 hours. Schedule TBD between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
