Stewardship & Service - Morefield Speicher Bachman, LC

STEWARDSHIP & SERVICE

Attorneys Rick Morefield, Andrew Speicher, and Stan Bachman came together over three shared principles:  Faith, Stewardship, and Service.  They each have a personal desire to honor God with their time and talents, and to use their professional careers to do more than simply earn a living and provide for their families.  They desire to use their skills and abilities to serve God through serving others, helping those in need, and advocating for those who cannot fight for themselves.

Charity Spotlight

Support Morefield Speicher Bachman, LC in the upcoming Walk Like MADD Kansas City and help put an end to drunk driving accidents.  We have seen too many lives devastated by injuries or the loss of a loved one because a drunk driver chose to get behind the wheel.  Here are some ways you can help:

  • Click the Walk Like MADD badge above to donate to the MSBLawKC team
  • Grab some friends and register your own team at www.walklikemadd.org

Our Vision

One specific way Rick, Andrew, and Stan seek to honor God in their professional careers is through individual commitments to donating a percentage of their annual billable time to pro-bono legal services.  In our 2016, our attorneys spent 288 hours providing pro bono legal aid and services to children, families, the elderly, and churches in Kansas and Missouri.

Andrew Speicher is in his second year serving with the Volunteer Attorney Project through the Legal Aid of Western Missouri, primarily helping enable guardianships for children in need, and assisting individuals with warrant relief.

Richard Morefield worked closely with churches in Kansas City and surrounding areas to develop child protection policies, and also provided legal assistance to an individual fighting an insurance coverage dispute who would have otherwise been unable to retain counsel.

Stan Bachman helped guide and advise individuals facing financial hardships.

No matter where we find ourselves serving, we will seek to be a source of help and hope to those in need.
