Kate Stromsted joined Morefield Speicher Bachman, LC, in May 2015. Prior to joining MSB, Kate worked for Kansas Legal Services, Inc. in its Kansas City, KS office. While at KLS, Kate coordinated the Reduced Fee Program, which expanded access to legal services for low-income Kansans at reduced cost. Her experience also includes work with Social Security Disability (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claims and domestic cases. At Morefield Speicher Bachman, LC, Kate supports the Legal Administrator and Paralegals, and works closely with attorney Andrew Speicher on pro bono cases through Legal Aid of Western Missouri.Kate received her BA in economics in 2006 with a minor in French and is now also studying Spanish. She completed her paralegal certificate in December 2014 and is pursuing a degree in accounting as she works to become a CPA. Kate has extensive experience working with clients of diverse backgrounds who are facing great adversity and is committed to providing quality legal support to the firm and its clients. Her self-described passion in life is her dogs, Merry and Coco, with libraries, history, and music coming in in a distant second.
